Reception Idea

I had a revelation tonight on my way to RaceTrac...I had been stressing over what to do for centerpieces at the reception because buying glassware is so expensive...and then you only use it once...so I thought maybe I could use decorations from around my parents' house. Lemme explain...my mom collects antiques...like old coke crates, glass peanut jars, glass milk jugs and other things that could be easily used to hold candy, programs and be used as centerpieces for the wedding...so basically my reception is going to be Antique Roadshow themed...just kidding...sort of...I think I can make it look classy...but I'm gonna need some help.

    don't tell anyone that I do this, but you can always buy something and keep the receipt to return it when you are done??? I did it at Hobby Lobby. Buy it the week before and then have your mom return it the day after. You gotta do what you gotta do when you have a budget!!

    When you were telling me about this at the movie I really liked the idea. I definitely think using antique glassware is a cute idea. It gives it a cozy atmosphere while still being elegant.
