I know I'm being totally bipolar when it comes to this darn wedding...I'm starting to think I'm not like most girls when it comes to weddings. I think most other girls have their ENTIRE wedding planned out because they've been dreaming about it for so long...and that's great...but I seem to be obsessed with certain aspects of the wedding. For example, the dress, the ring, and the man. Everything else is almost totally up in the air. That being said, I've recently changed my mind on the reception theme thanks to my mommy. She suggested a baseball themed reception...which is brilliant for us because Jordan and I met at a baseball game and our entire relationship kinda revolves around baseball. (He practically proposed with one)
Anyways, we'd still have the dessert bar and cake and all...but instead of a straight candy bar we'd have things like peanuts, crakcer jacks, popcorn, (the stuffed baseball from Build-a-Bear), pretzels, and whatever else I can think of between now and then. I'm kind of afraid to put up a survey, but I need the opinions of females...and remember it will be classy. :)
On another note, I got my wedding dress fitted while I was in OKC for Eclipse last Wednesday. My mom just happened to be with me when I got the call Wednesday morning that my dress was in so we hopped in the car and headed to David's Bridal and Oh. My. Word. It was so much more gorgeous than I remember! I put the dress on first with no bra...it was a little loose, so we tried the thick bra that I have at home...the dress wouldn't zip, then they gave me a thinner, somewhat trashy looking bra...that one gave my awkward arm fat. So, they finally gave me little bra cups to stick in the dress and they were perfect! So those little suckers will be sewn in to my dress! I also decided I am wearing shoes under my dress. If I didn't they would have to take 5 inches off the bottom. I also just don't feel dressed without shoes, so I ordered those gorgeous shoes from my earlier post! I can't wait til they come in!
I think that's all for the wedding updates for now...hopefully I'll start dreaming and come up with some brilliant, cheap ideas for this wedding.
