My Man

Today is Jordan's birthday and it's really exciting to think that this is the last birthday he'll have before we get married! I'm so blessed to have this incredible guy in my life. He is the definition of what women should look for in a husband and in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, he meets every one of those items in my book.

He is so incredibly patient with me, even when I know I'm being difficult.

He is always kind and sensitive to my needs. When I'm having a bad day he knows exactly what to say and do to make it better.

He is not a jealous or possessive person, even when he mentions that he notices other guys looking at me, he'll make a comment, but immediately lets it go.

He doesn't boast in his achievements and is not boastful and prideful in his successes in life.

He is not rude, he doesn't embarrass me even when he easily could, he is not self centered...he would buy me anything I asked for if he could afford it in a heartbeat...and he is soooo patient with me and slow to anger. I know I do things (we all do) that irritate each other, but I have never seen the boy angry with me in our 2 years and almost 9 months together.

He keeps no record of wrongs, of what mean things I may have said to him out of frustration, with him, they are forgotten.

He is an honest man, almost painfully so, but he would never intentionally hurt anyone.

I know he will always protect me, be honest with me, hope with and be hopeful for me, and I know our love for each other will persevere and overcome any challenges we may face in our upcoming life together.

With God's help our love will never fail.
