Failure...I still chew my nails. I need advice!!!
Also...I need opinions on whether or not to put in my two weeks at work.
Here's the low down...
I've only worked there three weeks
I told the manager I could only work a MAX of 22 hours a week...so far I've worked 37 and 29 hours a week
They want me to come back to OKC to work during Christmas break
I only make $4.50 an hour...and only get 3% commission.

I'm only going to comment on the nail thing. I used to bite mine in high school and how I stopped was I used this still by opi it's like called nail magic or something and my secret is I always paint my nails. If they have a fresh coat of polis on them I am less likely to bite them. I'm obsessed with painting my nails like I paint them at least once a week if not more. Anyways, it works for me!

ReplyDeleteI have a comment for both! I always have and prob always will pick/bite my nails. The only time they are safe is (like Laura) when they are painted! I've been picking at them this last week and desperately need to paint them!
ReplyDeleteOn the job... depends on how much you need the money. BUT, I'd say quit. Change your schedule to be free on t/th and we'll pay you to keep Eli :) OR stick to your guns and tell them you can only work the hours you discussed up front. But again, depends on how much you need money during the break. You'll always find another job. I'm big on keeping commitments, but if they aren't keeping your end it's hard to keep yours!

Alright Suzanne...I'm like you with the commitment thing, which is why I will most likely not quit until I have another job at a hospital where I'd only have to work 24 hours a month. Also, if I can free my schedule up for next semester I would LOVE to keep sweet Eli on Tuesdaya and Thursdays...so I will definitely be getting back to you!
