UC--LA!!!

This is a little late and I do realize that I posted already since this weekend...but it was so great! Me, Jordan and several of his friends went to Austin last weekend to see one of their best friends play starting center for UCLA against Texas! It. was. so. fun. We had some issues getting there (the other guy's car broke down) but once there it was a blast! We started tailgating with Red's (or Ryan or Tex) family about 11 that morning...then braved the Texas fans to get our tickets and get into the stadium. Let me just say I am not used to being a fan of the visiting team...at UT of all places...that's hard for a Sooner fan...just sayin. Anyway, Jordan and I ended up sitting in the Texas alumni section (eek) but it turned out fine. We explained that we were from Texas and that we were only there because we were supporting the ONLY Texas boy on UCLA's team. And then UCLA started kicking butt!!! It was such a great game! Afterward we waited for Red to come out of the locker room and then headed back to tail gate more...a lot more...until midnight more...but it was a lot of fun! The we headed to Sixth Street...which was too crazy for me, but we won't get into that. The next morning we had to come back to reality and spent (or I did at least) almost 9 straight hours in the car! Totally worth it though :)
