I've Been Prodcutive

3 hours of community nursing class? Ew! That's usually when I blog. :)

This week I was in Little Rock with my best friend and maid of honor for her Papa's funeral. Even though it was a time of sadness, we still had a good time being together considering we only get to see each other about once a year (ugh). We went shopping (my favorite), got a pedicure, stayed up until 2 in the morning talking, went on a walk, went to the park and just hung out. It was nice to get to spend some time with her, even if the reason I was there did suck. While we were shopping, though, I got my ring cleaned (it's sparkly again!) and picked out my wedding band. I always seem to gravitate to the big, sparkly wedding bands (duh, I'm a girl) but if I had decided to go with one like that I would have to get the band on my engagement ring changed, which I did not want because I love my band, nor did I (or Jordan) want to pay for that. So, I told the "jewelry consultant" (that's what his business card said) that I did not want to change my band or get the setting raised, so he picked out this glorious thing...

I was originally opposed to having the band that dips to go around the engagement ring, but the way this one is designed it looks amazing. Though it is not as sparkly as I originally thought I wanted (but what do I know) it looks fantastic with the ring and without it, since I'm not wearing my huge diamond to work.

Also this week I picked out bridesmaids dresses...yes dresses...3 of them to be exact. Some people may not think this is a good idea, and I may regret it later, but I don't want opinions on this because it's already been decided. I gave in and decided to go with Davids Bridal because it is too darn hard to find navy blue dresses. Their options are this dress...(all navy blue or "marine" I might add)

And this one...

And, finally, this one...

Also, we for sure have a baker! Yea! Now all I need is a florist...and a haircut...but that's another story. :)
