You Better Run, Better Run

Please excuse my hiatus from the blog for a few days.

Yesterday I ran for the first time in probably 2 months, and 2 months ago was an isolated event.  I probably haven't run regularly since before my wedding in 2011.  That's bad!  Well, yesterday (thanks to Jordan) I got off my booty and ran.  I don't know how far or how long, but it. sucked. big. time.  Honestly, all I kept thinking was, "The contestants on The Biggest Loser ran a 5K!".  Which made me feel...like crap.  So my goal for the month of April is to be able to easily run my leg of the OKC Memorial Marathon relay (which is awesome and everyone should participate!).  My leg is a 5K and I have yet to actually dominate it.  It's going to happen this year, so stay tuned for how it goes...it's not going to be a pretty journey.

Switching gears completely, since January is almost over, I really need to get on my goals for the year.  I now have through April done, but that still leaves 8 months (8 goals) I need to fill/come up with.  I have a bit of a creative block right now (another reason for the hiatus) and I tend to have the view that if I'm not excited about what I write, you won't be excited to read it.  So bear with this post and hopefully come Monday and Tuesday (my next days off) I'll have some goodness for ya!
